Successful Undergraduate Advising
Accurate advising is the key to success in navigating through your degree program. Please take advantage of all of the advising resources your college and major department has to offer. Each department offers printed and web-based information about requirements for entering their programs.
Your most important task after selecting a major is to meet with your major advisor. Check with your department to see who your major advisor is, and then make an appointment to meet with that person within the first few weeks of the semester.
In addition, a General Education Advisor is available to you at the Student Resource Center. It's up to you to take advantage of the resources available to you through your College and Major Departments.
