The Baby Friendly Room
The Baby Friendly Room, a Nursing Center on the campus of San Francisco State University, is located in HSS 110. The purpose of the room is to provide a quiet and private environment for parents to feed and care for their infants. Mothers can maintain lactation by pumping while at school or work. Under supervision of Interim Director Karen Johnson-Brennan.

The Baby Friendly Room can be accessed by calling the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) office at 415.338.3326.
Equipments:
The room contains a hospital grade breast pump, refrigerator, baby changing table with an "emergency" supply of diapers, a rocking chair, a love seat, chairs, table for study, a computer, television, VCR, videotapes on pregnancy, telephone for on campus use, books, and infant care. Attachments for the breast pump and breast pads are available for sale in the Pharmacy in the Student Health Center.
Hours and Location:
Access is available by going to HSS 204 (CHHS office) between 8:00AM and 5:00PM. A keycode for HSS 110 can be obtained.
